Soft hearts quick to heal.
We are called to be like flowers in a storm; when everything is falling apart around us and our petals are torn off and are pelted and beaten about. We are to keep loving and “giving our peace” to the situation because “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” We are to grow new, stronger more vibrant petals, even if they are to be torn off again and again.
This was written by a Metro Denver Hospice Physician and it was sent to me by my sister. We all need to have our hearts softened. So I always pray; “Father, give me a soft heart that’s quick to heal, a soft heart quick to heal!” And he is faithful.
